This installs Net Meeting and opens up the window.   You will see a window that in the top title bar says:  NetMeeting, Not in a call…

You then just need an IP address to call them or they give them yours to call you.  Be aware:  When a user restarts their computer their IP address usually changes, when a user does not have Net Meeting up and running you cannot call them (after you have installed it once it puts an icon on your desktop).  To get your IP (From the NetMeeting main window) select Help/about NetMeeting and you will see your IP at the bottom so you can give it to the other user to call you.

Why use Net Meeting?

No one can connect to your computer without your permission when you use this tool. Especially

if you close the program. It is relatively safe to use to get help.

Some of the bad stuff: Sometimes the Microsoft server that allows us to use this tool is not working properly

Sometimes it is not working at all

Sometimes it boots you for no reason

Usually it works fine.
