I love this website! Wikipedia has great sections for current events, news, recent deaths, trials, ongoing conflicts, and generally any information I would want to find on the internet but a more reliable source. Wikipedia took a real hit in the last month or so of the year when a former Robert Kennedy aide's biography was edited to include the allegation the aide was involved in Kennedy's assassination. That brought about changes to Wikipedia's original system of allowing anyone to anonymously edit articles -- which itself brought about new rules for creating and editing articles. (DW-Guess I’ll watch what parts I trust)
I like it a little better than cbs.com, nbc.com etc. because of the way it organized so maybe you will too. Also, universal time with facts about each location in a very nice format.
I’m thinking it’s called wiki because here wikiwiki means very fast and you certainly see this is a very nice scan-type format. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Current_events
